SoBadItsGood: Given the premise, it was probably aiming for this.

* CompleteMonster: Doctor Praetorius is the only human bad guy (unless you count that thrift store clerk), and clearly derives waaay too much pleasure from cutting people up and using their organs for various disgusting purposes (like nunchucks).

* PeripheryDemographic: A lot of atheists love this movie, especially the [[FlatEarthAtheist hilariously inaccurate portrayal of atheism]] in the film, for sheer comedy value, [[SarcasmMode as opposed to its nuanced and thoughtful view of Catholicism]]. Also, many atheists absolutely LOVE Jesus/Religion humor (it's easier laughing at things you don't consider SeriousBusiness, after all).

The entire movie was dubbed, just like a lot of low-budget films at the time were filmed without sound and dubbed in post. You can\'t really say they just didn\'t care when it was deliberate.

* TheyJustDidntCare - Any particular reason why the Mexican wrestler doesn't even attempt to fake an accent? Even when saying Spanish words? Also see YouDontLookLikeYou.
** The stulted, strange-rhythmed English is meant to mock dubbed-in dialog in foreign movies, the idea being that people in Chop Sockey movies and Mexican vampire movies speak like dubbed-in voice-over artists, not themselves.
