However, this is made worse by the fact that, not only Cocó does this change because of the supposed tension between Marco and Allegra, the latter of whom unintentionally caused this for being distracted, but also uses his relationship with Caterina to her own advantage by manipulating Diego into asking Caterina back into the play, only for her to see through the ruse and break up with Diego as a result. Marco is also upset at Diego that the quits the band when he won't respect his wishes of trying something new when offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by a record deal. 2) When Marco's father finds out what his son has been up to for the past couple of days and disowns him, he begs Diego (off-screen) to let him crash in the record store, but is turned away as Diego states to the panicked Allegra when asking for his whereabouts. Diego also refuses to acknowledge that he did anything wrong when he angrily says that he's fed up with Marco's attitude.

However, the more we know about Caterina's past, the more we start to understand her motives. Caterina wasn't really interested in becoming an actress in the first place and would instead choose to become a writer as she learned poetry from her heartwarming grandmother, Lucía. Nevertheless, Caterina's relationship with Cocó was really estranged due to the latter forcing her own daughter to a life she didn't want to just to feed her own ego. In addition, since Allegra was kept in the dark about this, she was understandably in her right to complain that Caterina never lets her do what she wants until Allegra, thanks to the time-travel bracelet, is finally made aware of this, now realizing that her mother was only trying to protect her because Cocó would only prioritize her career over her family. And Caterina is supposed to be the 'bad guy' in this whole debacle?
