Many were also not a fan of how they directly sought blood and pain, rather than seeking out those who desired them.

** ''Series/Sense8'' fans were interested as soon as Creator/JamieClayon's involvement was announced. Her performance was later seen as another draw, after early reactions hailed it as one of the movie's strong points.

* EnsembleDarkHorse: The Mother, the pregnant Cenobite that [[spoiler:Colin encounters while running]], made a significant splash in the fandom, who were largely intrigued by her design.

* FridgeBrilliance: The glossy look the Cenobites now have may look a little goofy. However, they also add more light to the design, which makes the description, "Demons to some. Angels to others," all the more fitting.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: While the digital effects can be rough at times, the practical effect are ''insane'', specifically when [[spoiler:the camera goes ''inside'' Nora's throat as it's pierced, Voight's skin regenerates and Trevor's arm is degloved]].
