* DiagnosedByTheAudience: While ''much'' more better adjusted than Goblin Slayer, it's still clear that she suffers some form of PTSD over the goblins attacking her village [[spoiler:and her parents getting killed]]; she often goes outside to stare at the two moons while moaning, ignoring everything around her (her uncle calls this "disassociating") and Goblin Slayer tries ''very'' hard to never show or tell her what he really does lest he ends up worsening her trauma if does reveal the truth.

** Just the screams in general. The voice actors DO NOT hold back, and you can ''hear'' the pain, fear, and rage in them.

** Most of episode 6 is sweet, with Goblin Slayer considering genuinely settling down... Right up until his mind starts screaming that he has more goblins to fight and he won't be allowed to stop until he's dead. The ensuing argument between the crazed side of his mind and the tired side quickly and unnaturally devolves into each one yelling their respective MadnessMantra over and over, paired with unsettling visuals. [[ForegoneConclusion The crazed part of him wins once Goblin Slayer finds the tracks on the edge of the farm.]]
-->'''Crazed Slayer:''' Don't quit.

*** Pay close attention to those screams. The last one? doesn't belong to anyone in the group.

** In the fourth episode, we get a treat of the Goblins getting the upper hand on the main group. Before Goblin Slayer gets his HeroicResolve, we hear the main group screaming in desperation and agony as we see shots of [[NightmareFace the Goblins faces]]. It's just as nightmarish as the original.

** In the third episode, we get to see Rookie Warrior go absolutely berserk on a bug, according to him he blacked out afterwards. At least he found his sword in the bug (though it's implied he didn't even know he found his sword in the bug).
-->'''Rookie Warrior:''' At least I'm not afraid of bugs anymore, [[MirthlessLaughter heh heh...]] Now the only thing I'm afraid of is... ''myself''...
