* TheWoobie: No Name Assassin had it rough. She was so devoted to her faith that she never saw any faults in others (despite their clear resentment, mistrust, and anger at her actions) and only despised herself (and heathens) for not being pious enough, despite being what was called a "religious fanatic" or a zealot. The idea that she never blamed anyone but herself for her ideals, treatment, and eventual summoning by the Grail (which she is repulsed by as it denies her faith) is heartbreaking.

* HoYay[=/=]ShipTease: The bond between Gilgamesh and Enkidu is so strong that they can [[http://i57.tinypic.com/6ye4ib.jpg sense each other's presence]] even when they are a whole country's distance apart.

And if that is what happens in just the ''second volume'', then one has to wonder what future parts have in store...
