Renamed some tropes.

* ItsTheSameSoItSucks: The main ride in Universal Studio Florida is just the sequence from the Hollywood Ride/StudioTour transplanted into its sister park as a standalone attraction. Fans had an expectation of something like ''Ride/{{Jaws}}'' or ''Ride/{{Kongfrontation}}'', rides based off of parts of the Studio Tour but greatly expanded upon. Furthermore, unlike the Studio Tour, ''Supercharged'' was not limited by the constraints of being part of a tram tour and the motion effects of the party bus could have been ramped up to be a lot more exciting instead of remaining the same as the Hollywood version.

** The pre-shows are done by park employees who have perform dialogue and improv towards both the guests and the pre-recorded actors. The quality of their performances varies but the general consensus is that it tends to be rather awkward and lackluster.

* ReplacementScrappy: For ''Ride/{{Disaster}}'', which in turn replaced ''Ride/EarthquakeTheBigOne''. Most people familiar with ''Earthquake'' stated that, even if fans weren't happy with the name change, at least ''Disaster!'' was a good replacement that didn't change much, with its added HamAndCheese making it more enjoyable since it wasn't taking itself seriously. ''Supercharged'', on the other hand, takes itself too seriously to be fun and not seriously ''enough'' to be thrilling, and is considered to be a sloppy, boring replacement. It gained notice during the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic when, despite being a relatively new and heavily advertised attraction, it became one of several rides to close due to having such low popularity that Universal couldn't justify having them reopen.

** The CGI work leaves a lot to be desired, coming off looking like it came off from a video game. For comparison, [[Ride/RaceThroughNewYorkStarringJimmyFallon Jimmy Fallon's ride]] looked much better, and that had you leaving Earth at one point. Heck some detractors have even stated even ''[[VideoGame/FastAndFuriousCrossroads Crossroads]]'', the heavily lambasted video game of the series, looked much more realistic than the ride.

** One thing most people criticize is that, for a series that started off about illegal street racing and has been a staple of it even it moved away from it, that aspect oddly wasn't made to be part of the ride itself. And could've been incorporated into the story such as the party bus going to a race Dom, Letty and Roman were participating in and driving alongside the race before Shaw and his men show up to crash it. Leading into the chase proper which would've been truer to the spirit of the franchise. Instead said race happens afterward and your just arriving to the afterparty.
** Likewise a few wonder why it hasn't been updated either considering 1) [[spoiler: Owen Shaw becomes an ally in ''Fate of the Furious'' which makes the ride's story horrendous outdated, even by the time it opened (Owen was being hospitalized after the events of 6 to which his brother Deckard had tried to avenge him)]] and 2) Cipher, who was revealed to be the main BigBad behind Owen and Jakade of ''Furious 7'' and would be a much better threat then Owen for the ride since Dom has personal beef with her.

** When Dom leaps from his car window onto the skids of a passing helicopter, we see that the copter is only slightly bigger than he is. Either Dom suddenly becomes a giant or the helicopter is the size of a go-kart. This isn't helped by the poster showing Dom to be utterly massive when hanging off of it to the point of hugging it from the top down with just his forearms.

** For some, the story itself has merit, with the witness protection angle being a good way to immerse the riders. But the execution is severely lacking since the actors are barely giving minimum effort and it's all done with projections and screens that looks horrendously outdated with it's CGI (And keep in mind this first opened in ''2015''). The ride potion barely has much interaction other then the trams slightly rumbling and blowing smoke in your face with it being over before you know it. It's less a ride and more a expensive 360 [=FMV=].

* {{Narm}}: The acting in this is cringe-worthy, wooden and uninspired. Often coming off like a amateur production. And these are ''professional actors'' to boot.
* NarmCharm: Though some argue that said acting does help mitigate the ride at least. It also helps that the ''Fast and Furious'' series isn’t exactly known for its incredible acting.

* {{Narm}}: ItsTheSameSoItSucks: The main ride in Universal Studio Florida is just the sequence from the Hollywood Ride/StudioTour transplanted into its sister park as a standalone attraction. Fans were expecting something like ''Ride/Jaws'' or ''Ride/Kongfrontation'', rides based off of parts of the Studio Tour but greatly expanded upon.
* JustHereForGodzilla: The queue for the ''Supercharged'' is much more lauded by ''Fast & Furious'' fans than the actual ride, being themed as a garaged filled with cars from the films and tons of Easter eggs from the franchise.

** The scene where Dom jumps from his car window and hangs off a helicopter that almost as small as him.

* SpecialEffectsFailure: The CGI is... not good to say the least, looking like something right out of a video game, a ''[=PS2=] era'' video game. For comparison, [[Ride/RaceThroughNewYorkStarringJimmyFallon Jimmy Fallon's ride]] look much better and that had you leaving Earth at one point.

to:

* SpecialEffectsFailure: SoShortItSucks: Due to being a copy of the Ride/StudioTour sequence, the main part of the ride, starting after Shaw appears, is little over two minutes long. Walking through the often empty queue and watching the pre-show both take more time to get through.

** When Dom leaps from his car window onto the skids of a passing helicopter, we see that the copter is only slightly bigger than he is. Either Dom suddenly becomes a giant or the helicopter is the size of a go-kart.

* ReplacementScrappy: For ''Ride/Disaster'' which in turn replaced ''Ride/EarthquakeTheBigOne''. Most people familiar with the latter stated that, even if fans weren't happy with the name change, at the least was a good replacement that didn't change much and the HamAndCheese of the former even made it more enjoyable since it wasn't taking itself seriously. ''Supercharged'' on the other hand is neither and considered to be a sloppy replacement.
