While the book portrays them as unreasonable and devilish, they are right to question Betsy's role as Captain Britain - she spends almost no time with them, instead sticking almost exclusively to Krakoa, and sometimes in Otherworld. The only good she's done for them is indirect at best, like helping to protect the entire world in ''ComicBook/XOfSwords''. Their decision to cut ties with Krakoa is supposed to be brutal, but it's completely reasonable given how little Betsy has done to help them. Later, a member of Excalibur ''actively steals land'' and gives it to Krakoa. The only thing the British Crown has done wrong here, is side with the evil Coven Akkaba, AKA the only people who are actually helping them.
