*CompleteMonster: [[EvilOldFolks Magister Nenealeus]] is a powerful Tevinter [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil slaver]] who is famous for putting all his slaves through especially harsh [[TrainingFromHell abuse and suffering]]. Sending Cedric Marquette to retrieve a magical sarcophagus and information about red lyrium, which led to many deaths, Nenealeus choose Shirallas among the elven slaves to serve as the subject of his next experiment, while ordering the rest of the elven slaves to be killed. Transforming dozens of his human underlings into feral blue humanoids, who remain in extreme pain before they explode, and sending them as "[[WhyAmITicking bombs]]" to kill the heroes and Qunari warriors, Nenealeus reached the Dark Fortress and completed his experiment, transforming Shirallas into an "ultimate warrior", openly planning to use him and his dragon to wage a bloody war upon the entire Thedas.

* AntiClimaxBoss: Some readers feel that [[spoiler: Shirallas/The Red Wraith]] went down far too easily, given how he was built up as the Venatori's new superweapon against the qunari and their means to restore the Tevinter Imperium. [[spoiler: All it took to defeat him was separating from his sword, which interrupted his HealingFactor and made him vulnerable.]] Granted, he might have been more formidable with time, but it still feels anticlimactic.
