* CompleteMonster: The mastermind of the Killing Game, [[spoiler:Taichi Fujisaki]]. [[spoiler:It was bad enough that he was an abusive parent who abandoned his own son for being too weak. But he proceeds to be an absolute monster when he took over the Killing Game from the original creators. He uses the Killing Game to influence (positive or negative) into 'becoming stronger', becoming a 'hero', and removing all of his perceived 'weakness'. He has zero qualms about killing several people (including a dog) and torturing his own child just for that. And it is made clear that he has no problem if his son dies in the process as a result of being 'too weak'.]]

* FanficFuel: The offer Mono-Kaito gave to Chihiro to take [[spoiler:Mahiru]]'s place in Chapter 1's execution is this. In this fanfiction, Chihiro ultimately declined the offer after being persuaded by [[spoiler:Mahiru]]. However, the possible story on what would have happened if Chihiro did take [[spoiler:Mahiru]]'s place in the execution and [[spoiler:Mahiru]] took over the role as the protagonist is interesting to explore.

* CatharsisFactor: The death of the mastermind. [[spoiler:After everything Taichi had done, from child abuse to mass murder, it is an absolute joy that karma finally caught up to him. First, he gets beaten up by his abused son (special mentions to the GroinAttack). Then, he is left infuriated when [[TheEmpathy his son]] [[SympathyForTheDevil actually apologizes to him and says he loves his father]] before escaping with his classmates, shouting at his son that the latter is lying. Finally, as the airlock malfunctions after the escape shuttle hits the gate, Taichi realizes he is [[OhCrap about to die]] and screams for help before he finally gets sucked into space (suffocating him and crushing his organs).]]
