While Arthur and [[spoiler:DW]] are altered enough to at least possibly be unnerving, [[spoiler:Jane and David]] use barely-edited pictures of themselves with TearsOfBlood poorly added (especially unconvincing since said trope is frowned upon in {{creepypasta}} communities). Not helping is that the accompanying sound, while certainly [[SensoryAbuse loud]] enough to be startling, is either a "HEY!" from the ''theme song'' or [[spoiler:either parent yelling "ARTHUR!"]], neither of which is particularly frightening. Of course, given the intentionally goofy parts of the game, [[IntendedAudienceReaction this may be intentional.]]
