Only applies to the work causing the tough act to follow. Not those effected by it.

* ToughActToFollow: Compared to the [[Recap/ArrowS3E8TheBraveAndTheBold Arrow installment]] of last year's crossover, and to the Flash episode that preceded this one. Mainly because the subplot with Ollie's son is [[TrappedByMountainLions awkwardly shoehorned in]] at the expense of the Vandal Savage plot, while the subplot with Wells and Caitlin in the Flash installment had the benefit of forwarding the story arc with Zoom, while the subplot with William doesn't seem to be that important to any of Arrow's current story arcs. It also doesn't help that Felicity's big drop in popularity in season three was because people saw her as being horribly selfish toward Oliver. Here she gets mad at Ollie for keeping a secret he only confirmed that day and was still confused as to what he should even do.

* HolyShitQuotient: The deaths of Oliver and the other main characters sans Barry might have given this reaction from the audience.
