*** [[BlackBossLady Amanda Waller]] gets a moment of this in the same episode. After Luthor is apprehended, we see her on the phone with the military, telling them to inform the President to "call off the nukes." Waller had traveled with the League to stop Luthor and was thus where any nuclear attack would have hit--even though she could have easily stayed behind after telling the heroes where to go.
** The show's ChristmasEpisode features Ultra-Humanite attacking a contemporary art museum and drawing Flash's attention. The speedster is feeling particularly rushed because he's trying to deliver a popular toy to a nearby orphanage, but takes the time to fight Ultra-Humanite anyway. When the toy gets broken, a heartbroken Flash gives up the battle, and Ultra-Humanite has him at his mercy...but though the villain ''does'' knock Flash out, he chooses not to kill him, instead offering a truce and even repairing the toy (including some improvements).
