The fight would also have them use rubberhose-esque transformation abilities that would make fighting them absurd and frustrating. It was cut for being too expensive to animate and being a ''bit'' too out there. However, concept artist Chelsea Kennedy later posted concept art of the idea.

* Professor Ozpin was originally supposed to be voiced by Creator/MontyOum himself, but he decided that he wasn't the right fit. Matt Hullum (the voice of Sarge from ''Machinima/RedVsBlue'') also auditioned for the part.

* Starting with Volume 3, there is a question about what the series might have been like had Monty Oum lived to keep working on it. He was reportedly more of an ideas man who preferred to work on the animation, but given what [[RuleOfCool kind]] of show this is and several instances of Monty inserting ideas into the show just because he thought they would be cool, it's sadly a major creative loss.

* Before Volume 8, a contest was held for a fan-made Grimm. While the Sulfur Fish won, there were two ''other'' Grimm designs that won but, [[Administrivia/RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgment due to controversy surrounding the voting process]], were quietly dropped from the running.
