* TemporaryBulkChange: In the epilogue, Dizzy becomes fat from eating the large pile of halloween candy he got from trick-or-treating. He's back to his normal weight just seconds before the closing credits.

* TheUnintelligible: In the "The Devil Dog on the Moors" sketch, Paddy speaks in gibberish, with Shamus acting as his translator.
* VariationsOnAThemeSong: In this special, the characters sing a special version of the theme song about what they have planned, at at the end, the results.
* VisualPun: In the "Frankenmyra and Dizzygor" sketch, Elmyra, as Dr. Frankenmyra, asks Dizzy Devil, as Dizzygor, to give her a brain for her monster. Dizzy gives her [[WesternAnimation/PinkyAndTheBrain The Brain]], who says, "The obvious nature of this pun belittles us all.".
