It's the third animated series based on the character (fourth if you count ''Sabrina's Secret Life'' which was more of an continuation of ''WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries'') and the fifth show in the series overall.

The show is technically a ContinuityReboot of the series, re-telling Sabrina's origins of her coming into her powers and finding out the magical nature of the family, living a dual life of going to her human school by day and magical school by night. Though she also must do battle to enemies who would do harm to her family and threaten to expose her secret.
