Preternia is restored by Teela so that Adam's father, King Randor, and other fallen heroes and allies can rest in peace. Eternos is free once more but, after admitting that the monarchy is flawed, which led to Keldor/Skeletor's uprising, Adam declares the system is dissolved and the kingdom now a republic, giving power to its citizens, while he and Teela finally become an OfficialCouple. Despite all this, however, Hordak survives Skeletor's betrayal and a mysterious acolyte who retrives him for recovery, vowing that they will return to Eternia to take revenge in the heroes.]]
