* UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash: The show is apparently done using this tool.

* AudienceParticipation: See ''Fake Interactivity'' below.

* UsefulNotes/BritishEnglish: Justified as the English dub is meant for BBC/ABC (the Australian one) airing. But then you get strange words like ''dustbin lorry'' (garbage truck).

* MarketBasedTitle: ''Didou'' is also known as ''Louie'' in most other countries outside of France, except the US, where he is known as ''Sam'' instead.

* NoFourthWall: Played straight.

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

* SpeakInUnison: The children voiceovers. They take the whole FakeInteractivity-related chorus of voices thing UpToEleven, as they literally say everything in unison no matter how extense their response to Didou turns out to be.

* NoExportForYou: The Leapster game. The show is also not airing in the US and many other countries as well (it seems that outside the UK and Europe, the show is only aired in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore). Thankfully, most online stores located in France do stock the [=DVDs=], which is thankfully Bilingual and switches to address "Didou" as "Louie" in the English dubs.
