Luckily for her Brutus was close by, though he took the full brunt of the porcupine's quills, and as Pixie's plucking the quills off his face, Brutus delivers the closest thing to a scolding he's given her through the series by telling her that she should think things through more carefully and not be so naive, because being too trusting will result in her getting hurt, and he will not be around forever to keep her safe or get her out of any trouble she finds herself in.
