* DogStereotype: DidntThinkThisThrough: Twice in the same "teen Pixie" strip where she is playing "ninjas" with Jacko - first in that their plan to get over a wall by vaulting off each other's backs can't really work to get ''both'' of them up, and second (and [[AmusingInjuries more painfully]]) in Pixie not taking into account that Jacko, while certainly a lot smaller than Brutus, is still a fair bit bigger and heavier than her.

General clarification on works content

* AngerBornOfWorry: In two part series of strips, Pixie tries to cheer up a porcupine with a hug because she believes that them being untouchable makes them sad, and the porcupine clearly states that he's not sad about a known fact, and if anything he HatesBeingTouched, and flat out warns her he'll prick her with his quills if she doesn't back off, a warning Pixie happily decides to ignore. Luckily for her Brutus was close by, though he took the full brunt of the porcupine's quills, and as Pixie's plucking the quills off his face, Brutus delivers the closest thing to a scolding he's given her through the series by telling her that she should think things through more carefully and not be so naive, because being too trusting will result in her getting hurt, and he will not be around forever to keep her safe or get her out of any trouble she finds herself in.

* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: In the episode in which Brutus reveals the details of how [[spoiler: he was wounded and his handler killed]] Brutus tells Pixie he and his humans were looking for "bad guys" - but in the flashback we see the "bad guy" didn't reach for his gun until the Marines had broken into his house and held his unarmed, unresisting wife at gunpoint.

Brutus tells Pixie he and his humans were looking for "bad guys" - guys", but in the flashback we see the situation is unclear, as the "bad guy" in question did have a hidden gun and fired the first shots, but also didn't reach for his gun it until the Marines had broken into his house house, and held his unarmed, a few unarmed and unresisting wife members of the household are shown being held at gunpoint.gunpoint before he attacks. Justified as Brutus likely doesn't fully understand the nuances of the humans' wars and the most important part of the incident for him was [[spoiler: Sergio's death and his own guilt at failing to prevent it]].

* PunctuatedForEmphasis: In the teen-Pixie storyline "Mutant", when Pixie and Gerald are confronted by (apparently) the giant mutant vampire rat they'd been holding a stakeout for:
-->'''Gerald:''' What do we do now?\\
'''Pixie:''' I-I don't know.\\
'''Gerald:''' What do you mean you don't know?? This was ''your'' idea.\\
'''Pixie:''' Yeah but I didn't think we'd ''actually'' see anything.\\
'''Gerald:''' Why weren't you watching? It was your turn to watch.\\
'''Pixie:''' I got tired so I went to sleep.\\
'''Gerald:''' That defeats the ''whole point'' of taking watch.\\
'''Pixie:''' ''I. Didn't. Think. We'd. Actually. See. Anything!''

The comic began as a one-shot for ''Webcomic/PetFoolery'', before the incredibly positive response led the artist to turn it into its own feature. For another work by the same author taking place in the same universe, see ''Webcomic/LolaAndMrWrinkles''.
