It should be noted the show's target audience is the students and staff of the school in which it is set, but that doesn't stop one from enjoying the plots, as it's easy enough to understand without such prior knowledge. ''TheClassroom'' follows its source material's mockumentary style, and takes more than a few pages out of its book as well, when it comes to characters and style. On the whole though, the series is an up and coming, if quiet, series entering its first "season" of production.

The Classroom is a developing video series by the students of West Florida High School's Multimedia Academy (based in Northwest Florida). An affectionate parody of {{The Office}} and its mockumentary style, the series follows the adventures of the students of a Junior-Senior Multimedia class. Led by their mostly incompetent/apathetic teacher, Mr. Justin Luciano, the colorful cast of characters balance their social lives, greater ambitions, and the School News Show, all while avoiding work at all costs.

The series was launched as part of WFHS's "Capstone" system, in which students from each career academy must create some kind of product. The brainchild of Anthony Beaulieu and Garrett Brooks (Juniors), the Pilot episode was a last ditch effort when previous attempts at a Capstone failed, among them, Bloodsuckers Anonymous (a trope page found here on this very wiki).

Unlike Bloodsuckers, the Classroom has been commissioned for additional episodes broadcast to the school and released to the Internet, after being a surprise hit with its target audience of fellow multimedia students. Often believed to capture the essence of the lazy Multimedia classroom experience, most plotlines are in some way drawn from actual events, although nearly every character is an exaggerated version of their actual selves, give or take a few quirks.

!! This series contains examples of:
[[index]]
* AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil: How some students view the Student Government Association (SGA).
* AdultsAreUseless: Mostly played straight with Luciano.
* AffectionateParody: of The Office
* AmbitionIsEvil: Mostly averted, as Jason is the most ambitious student, whereas Scooter is a slacker who's usually presented as antagonistic. Played straight with Garrett however in some cases.
* AntiHero: Almost everyone is one, to an extent.
* ApatheticTeacher: Luciano most of the time, if not downright incompetent, but is occasionally a CoolTeacher
* AsleepInClass: Kameron is the biggest offender.
* AtomicFBomb: Jason drops a short (censored) one in the pilot.
* BerserkButton: Jason being told that Scooter is better than him.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The pilot is essentially a series of these, having only a loose plot built around short, quirky scenes intended to introduce the audience to the characters and tone of the series, rather than focus on the plot. Later episodes do this less, but BLAMs still show up.
* BigManOnCampus: How Jason perceives Scooter, and how Scooter perceives himself to an extent.
* BlondeGuysAreEvil: Scooter, arguably.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: It's a mockumentary, so quite often.
**NoFourthWall
* BrilliantButLazy: Anthony, and to a lesser extent Garrett.
* ButtMonkey: Myles is never respected despite being one of the few people who truly cares about doing a good job. Jason to a lesser extent.
