''The Kids On Bikes Playtest'' is the second series in ''Series/ThePhobosSaga''. After the completion of ''Series/TenCandles'', it was decided a spin off of ''Ten Candles: The Town'' would be made a series. Originally a oneshot to learn how to play the ''[[https://www.renegadegamestudios.com/kids-on-bikes Kids on Bikes]]'' tabletop system, the receptiveness of the audience convinced Zac to continue the series for ten episodes while learning the new system. * AndTheAdventureContinues: In the epilogue, [[spoiler:an amnesiac Lucas wakes up to two people calling him [[Series/Kollok1991 Billy.]]]]

* PilotMovie: It was originally a one-shot to learn how to play with the ''Kids on Bikes'' tabletop system. First it was to last for one episode, then it was to last for two to three more episodes, and finally it became a ten episode series, with a good amount of lore and characters finding continued existence in ''Series/{{Kollok 1991}}''.

* AdultFear: The show kicks off with two young girls going missing at the fair.

** Scott gets trapped in the Grotto once the Traveller takes Mylinn's body, [[spoiler:and after Billy (formerly Lucas) destroys the Grotto, Scott ceases to exist.]]
** Malika and Justin escape the town to try and find help. Over the next few years the world went to hell and back, and Malika (renaming herself Spark) and Justin are considered terrorists. In ''Series/{{Kollok 1991}}'', after the Traveller escapes Mylinn's body, [[spoiler:he goes to possess Justin and presumably murders Spark, who was already dying from overuse of her powers. After Billy destroys the Grotto, the Traveller is literally falling apart-- and as he had possessed Justin, that means Justin is also dying.]]

* TownWithADarkSecret: The town is built over interdimensional "veins" of energy that manifest as psychic abilities through people who are captured and experimented on. [[spoiler:Milynn's father is heavily involved and his former business partner is trapped in the veins.]]
