[[https://www.nijisanji.jp/en/ Nijisanji]] (nicknamed [[GoroawaseNumber 2434]]) is a VirtualYoutuber group based in Japan, founded and operated by [[https://www.anycolor.co.jp/en/ ANYCOLOR Inc.]] [[note]]formerly Ichikara, Inc; the company [[https://t.co/4gT4HTzroD?amp=1 officially changed their name]] as of 17 May 2021[[/note]] Nijisanji members make LetsPlay, free chat, and other variety content streams with UsefulNotes/Live2D-animated anime avatars on Website/{{YouTube}} (the Chinese branch though primarily streams on Bilibili). Officially, Nijisanji members refer to themselves as "Virtual Livers", or "Livers" for short.

* CanadaEh: By the time before Luxiem's debut, six out of the ten EN livers were based in Canada (Elira Pendora, Selen Tatsuki, Rosemi Lovelock, Nina Kousaka, Enna Alouette and Millie Parfait). At one point when all ten collaborated in a Mario Kart tournament, they ended up singing Canada's national anthem because there are so many of them who are from Canada. However, since then very few new Canadian-based members have been added. Although there used to be jokes about [=NijiEN=] being called [=NijiCanada=] at that time, unlike the later formed [=NijiAU=], the Canadians never formed a group based on their nationality like the Australians did.

* ControlFreak: The company's authorisation flows are notoriously strict, to the point of being stifling to its livers, with new rules being added and circumstances changing, thereby often messing up projects at the most inconvenient times [[note]](In one [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH18r3r5W-A&t=9917s infamous instance]] Pomu had to make some last-minute changes to her [=MV=] because there were some objections right before release which caused a delay)[[/note]]. And thats ''nothing'' compared to the "silencing contract" the talents are pushed to sign if they wish to leave the company amicably.

* EvilIsPetty: The company is rather infamous for withholding the Silver and Golden Plaques its talents earn by getting 100'000 and 1'000'000 subscribers. Supposedly, the livers do have the right to ask the company to send it to them, but so far no plaques have been received by any members, citing delays and misplacement.Tsukino Mito wasn't even allowed by Nijisanji to have her name displayed on a ''virtual'' plaque which was awarded to her [[note]](You can see Mito's plaque [[https://www.youtube.com/live/63gvcJEEWZE in this video]] at the 18:25 mark and you can compare it with Laplus' plaque at the 35:00 mark)[[/note]]. There's really no other reason for doing something like this, other than that Nijisanji doesn't want the livers to feel any sense of individual accomplishment outside of the realm of the company.

The branch received much more merchandising and promotion than the ex-ID and ex-KR branches, third-party collaborations, and 3D plans involving more than half of the branch. All members of [=LazuLight=] have done their 3D debuts, and a 3D concert was planned for the first five waves of the EN branch, although it is currently post-poned. By contrast, ex-ID only got Hana Macchia's 3D model, and that was after her 3D debut stream had been delayed twice[[note]]She received her model alongside Elira for the NIJIFES 2022 event, but her proper debut was repeatedly delayed until late April 2023, by which time [=LazuLight=] had already made their 3D debuts.[[/note]], while Yang Nari of ex-KR is slated to be the first liver of her branch to receive a 3D model during [=NijiFes=] 2023.

* NameOrderConfusion: Many JP livers with Japanese names as well as the ex-KR livers have their names officially romanized in Eastern order. While some EN livers with Japanese names have their names in Eastern order when written in kanji, all EN livers' names are romanized in Western order.
