All things considered, BJ's head transplant went fairly smoothly, his head fit the SuperSoldier body perfectly, and his new physique is pretty much identical to his old one. This is because A: Set Roth is an incredible surgeon and B: BJ's new body ''is'' BJ... kind of. After years of Terror-Billy kicking their asses, the Nazis decided to fight fire with fire and used BJ as the template for their new model of SuperSoldier, either just basing the design off him or even cloning him after getting their hands on his DNA (which is plausible, considering how many times he's been captured).

[[WMG: ''Wolfenstein 3D'' exists in-universe... as a GameMod]]
The Kreisau Circle clearly like ''Wolfstone 3D'', even though it features a Nazi protagonist gunning down their heroes and Allied soldiers in droves. After some tech-savvy members figured out how to tinker with the game's code, they made BJ the protagonist, the Nazis the enemy, and turned it into what we know as ''Wolfenstein 3D''. The only difference is that their version features notable Nazis like Deathshead, Frau Engel and Rudi Jager as bosses.

Max Hass despite his generally pacifistic ways is shown to tank bullets and flatten people with his fists when provoked. Not only does he take bullets he doesn't seem to even notice them for the most part. Combine that with his noticeable fear of certain specific power tools and what goes into making the other super soldiers it seems likely he's a failed super soldier candidate. Max was probably from the early era of Deathshead back when normal soldiers were being converted into super soldiers not purpose grown for it. Something about Max didn't work out, maybe he was too compassionate or too intelligent for their liking, so he was sent on to experimentation after the augmentation procedure failed to get what they were going for. Eventually he escaped but only after a partial lobotomy disguised his noteworthy intelligence beneath near total memory loss and an immature personality.

There's hints in this that all isn't like the Nazis boast from the AwesomeButImpractical tweaks to their forces to an insistence of repairing busted things despite "infinite" resources. And add in the fact that a number of noted leaders dying by BJ's hand. It seems the time Deathshead's genius bought has run out and it'll show the next time the Nazis show themselves, though with the chaos that's breaking out at the end, they'd just one of many things to deal with.

Hitler's movie was supposed to show Hitler defeating and killing Blazkowicz. Given that Hitler is shown to have complete disregard for human life, it is not a big stretch to assume he was actually going to [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness kill]] the actor [[FatalMethodActing playing Blazkowicz]] on camera and [[AllPartOfTheShow put this scene in the movie]]. This means that without B.J.'s intervention all four actors would have been doomed to be killed by Hitler regardless of the results of the audition.

The "attack" to free BJ from Engel's custody was staged to keep Engel from getting suspicious; after all, it wouldn't make sense if the Resistance ''didn't'' go after their top asset against the Nazis. Spesh was simply the final detail, the sacrifical lamb meant to make the Nazis fall completely for the bluff. While it was not explicitly planned for him to die, they probably all knew what the odds of survival were and Spesh probably had orders to self-terminate if he wasn't killed outright.

It's the only group that's lacked representation in the cast. So far all there has been is side characters in the form of two Japanese-American sisters in Horton's group (Also an Arab in the Kreisau Circle but that's taking a pretty broad, albeit completely historical, definition of Asia). Come the third game we'll get a main character of Asian descent though!

Afterwards the world picked up the pieces, but now they suddenly had a ton of extremely high-grade tech that required a lot of power, which in a couple of decades led to an energy crisis, which drove humanity to Mars. There they find the Argent energy, which opens up Hell, and then they realize that their tech is compatible (since it came from the same source), so they try to exploit it, therefore we have DOOM 2016.

The Da'at Yichud are an ancient Jewish secret society whose tech is so advanced it looks like magic even though they should have no way to manufacture them. DOOM has demons that are actually inter-dimensional conquerors, and their magic can not only be reproduced as magitech by humanity, but it might be simply sufficiently advanced (bio)technology itself. King Solomon, the ancient Jewish king, has tales about him where he controlled demons and had them build his palace and get him gems and other rare thigns. Now put it all together: The ancient Jews had encountered the demons in the past. Somehow they managed to capture some of them and gained some of their magitech. Since it was too dangerous and/or corruptive, they created the Da'at Yichud, who then used the knowledge as a foothold to make their own breakthroughs, and they purposely erased the source of this knowledge so that they wouldn't end up as cultists. Then the Nazis found their caches in Wolfenstein, made use of their tech, which then allowed them to take over the world, but then the same technology (and BJ) led them to their downfall. Midway through the game, BJ [[spoiler:''survives decapitation'' thanks to a carefully executed plan by his friends, and is then given a new body]]. So, what may have happened to what he's left behind? [[spoiler:While badly damaged, it's still the body of the man who was a nightmare of the Nazi regime for years; too good a specimen to just have that corpse burned or exposed, and while Deathshead is dead, he's probably left enough knowledge and technology behind for others to continue his work. So, also to quash the rebellions that will erupt after the events of TNC, the Nazis [[CloningBlues will create one Ubersoldat, or even more, based on BJ]]. This may even be a cause for an HeroicBSOD by the original: seeing and eventually confronting a monstruos, monstrous, unhinged version of himself may lead BJ to question his own humanity (he's been arguably descending into SociopathicHero territory for a long time, on top of having an artificial body himself now), although he'll eventually rise up, stronger and more determined than ever.]]

* Jossed. The stories are actually fictitious and written by a resistance cartoonist. What a wasted opportunity.
