With about five or six exceptions like ''Song Of The Sea'' for example, all of them are set in a post apocalyptic future. A widely varied and expansive medieval fantasy future to be specific.

On top of that, each and every different place in this vast world has their own different years.

For example, Yucatan's year is 1502 (''Apocalypto'') while Kilkenny's year is 1650 (''Wolfwalkers'')

As for the ones set in the modern eras such as ''Keeper Of The Lost Cities'' and again ''Song Of The Sea'' for examples, they secretly play a ''major'' role and as it turns out, all the characters became involved in a government experiment and now have woken up after centuries still their age in a whole new world.

However through a few little Easter Eggs and references, it's heavily implied that the following here are also set in the same universe during the ''Pre-Apocalypse'' era but have less effect on the overall narrative -

- ''Tales From The Crypt Presents Demon Knight''

- ''Deathwatch''

- ''Overlord''

- ''The Mummy'' (1999)

- The ''Jurassic Park'' Trilogy

- ''King Kong'' (2005)

- ''Cloverfield''

- ''Let Me In'' (2010)

- ''Super 8''

- ''Transformers Prime'' and ''Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising''

- ''Chronicle''

- ''The Shield''

- ''Breaking Bad'', ''Better Call Saul'' and ''El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie''

- ''Sons Of Anarchy'' and ''Mayans MC''

- ''Where Eagles Dare''

and even believe it or not...

- ''Pair Of Kings''
