This troper is re-reading the first books and several details might point to that:
- Croaker has visions, albeit brief ones, but he sees himself at the side of [[spoiler: Darling as the fully realized White Rose]] as well as the Lady at her window, which starts him writing about her. When he later meet her in person, he remarks it's pretty much how he envisioned it.
- [[spoiler: during Shadow Falls and The White Rose, he seems to be able to contact her, willingly or not.]]
- He feels the presence of [[spoiler: Darling's null]] and several time remarks he feels the magic of an object or amulet by touching it.
- To stretch it, his gift with tongues and ability to easily "read" people might be interpreted as a latent gift for telepathy.
