All of them died on the final day of Melee, and yet when they came to the world of Brawl, one way or another, they all remembered their previous lives in Melee fully and weren't memory wiped. This troper believes this has to do with the fact that they died only hours away from the transfer of the world from Melee to Brawl, perhaps the reincarnation system/the Hands weren't able to properly reincarnate them into the next world, and they were able to retain their memories as a result of that oversight of not being finalized in the new world yet.
