They are about Garmadon, [[CaptainObvious right]]? And they feature Ultra Violet, their surviving comrade, and the Red Crows gang, who appear to be either the SoG's [[TheRemnant remnant]] or spiritual successors, right? The Red Crows make the villagers collect barrels of Two Moon Tea for them, but for what purpose? We know that a small cup can heal a human's wounds or empower an Oni, but can a huge amount revive a dead person, as if permanently, not like Resurrec-tea? Considering Lord Mogra emphasises that the Sons of Garmadon are a thing of the past, bringing their dead leaders back is probably not their intent, but in the upcoming issues, whatever shenanigans may follow, could lead to Harumi's resurrection, either on accident or deliberately by Garmadon (assuming his despair over Harumi's death was genuine), who would then somehow make her way into Season 15, while Mr. E/F could return by having someone rebuild him (or make a new robot in his image, depending on what's the case.

How long has he been on that lighthouse as of now? Julien made him out of whatever was lying around, this troper doubts his power source could last decades. Since the lighthouse's interior was seen in Season 15's leaked intro, it's possible that the ninja will find him deactivated and revive him, or [[BaitAndSwitch go past without noticing him]]. [[TakeAThirdOption Or they'll try to reactivate him]], but it'll be in vain.

Tommy Andreasen has recently published three facts about the next season, two of which are true and one is false. They are: 1) "The Weekend Whip" lyrics will become an important plot point; 2) A pot plant will be revealed as the reason the ninja stand a chance in their fights; 3) Characters not featured in the next season were deliberately put in the sets. Assuming the third is true, which characters would be added as a false lead? Nelson isn't popular enough to gain massive attention, Garmadon may appear indeed considering he's getting his own comic book series while Wu's appearance is a given. The most logical conclusion is that one of the villains is the false lead. However, wouldn't it feel weird to have a few villains come back and then just add another few that ''don't'' come back? Maybe none of them, neither Pythor nor Harumi nor Skull Sorceror nor anyone else will appear, and the villains will be either new, but not prominent enough to get a minifigure, or returning, but not the ones we saw in the sets, like Mechanic.

[[WMG: Nelson will become the new Master of Wind and become a Ninja.]]
* Since first appearing as an honourary Ninja, he has now appeared twice more in situations where he has helped the ninja and more specifically gained the attention of Sensei Wu. It seems quite possible Wu is keeping an eye on him.
* In The Island we are introduced to the Storm Amulet which is Purple and is explicitly tied to the element of Wind. And who do we know who wears purple? Nelson.
* While Wind has previously been associated with dark green via Morro, that had more to do with Morro's own obsession with becoming the Green Ninja than the colour specifically being associated with that element in Ninjago, and again the Storm Amulet is a deep purple in colour possibly setting up an association with that colour.
* WordOfGod is that the Wind Element has found a new host but that host who is not known at this time. It is possible that just as the original four Ninja were unaware of their elemental powers until some time after training in Spinjitsu, Nelson is not yet aware of his own powers.

While they are still in Ninjago, Gripe had probably already returned and told the Merlopians of Kalmaar's death (he probably learned of Wojira's death too later). With the deaths of Trimaar and Kalmaar, Merlopia is going to be left in a power vacuum, and who if not the army's leader is going to take over? As for what Gripe's next move is going to be, we can only guess, but what's most likely is that he will first try to hold onto his power by picturing Kalmaar as a hero horribly killed by the surface-dwellers and labeling Bentho and Glutinous as traitors for fighting on the ninja's side and leaking important information respectively. Whether he will continue his master's vendetta against the surface world or stay content with ruling over the Merlopia we have yet to see, but he better beware now that one of his enemies is one with the ocean...

[[WMG: Benthomaar and Glutinous can't return to Merlopia.]]
So, if you remember, after Kalmaar got his JustDesserts from Wojira, Gripe and the other Maaray Guards fled the scene, and it's most likely that they eventually returned to Merlopia. We see Benthomaar at Nya's memorial while there's no word on Glutinous's fate (but it's possible that he was evacuated with the civillians), but what happens to them next?
