** Actually, this theory could still work. Horzine may have taken samples of the Green Plague during or after it's original spread, and tried to analyze it. It would be extremely beneficial for research as a weapon, so they turned into a non-infective version to make the Specimens work properly. Let's call it Green Flu Mark II. The Fleshpounds, Bloats and Sirens are obvious modifications of the Tank, Boomer and Witch to be more combat effective, the Clots & Scrakes are simply clones with regenerating abilities injected with the Green Flu Mark II to dull pain and intelligence, while the Husks are the same but given cybernetic implants and a smaller injection of Green Flu Mark II to keep their intelligence, Stalkers have minimal injection but a lot of genetic modification, and so on.

* To certain members of the non-Zed playerbase, the Stalker is somewhat considered hot (a couple of back. This is probably because the only other two women are ugly (the Siren) or are in the process of selling you guns with innuendo-laced language. And if *you* were the Patriarch, and you had to choose between the Siren and Stalker, which would you choose?

She keeps him in bullets, rockets, and napalm - which lets her find out what he's up. That's why she's always ready to sell weaponry in the locations of impending battles, and why the Patriarch and his minions actually leave her alone.

* Actually, it's stated that The Patriarch's former wife was killed. She tried to leave him and he used a Siren (which was cloned from her DNA) to kill her.

[[WMG: The Trader is a Ti- No, really, she is!]]

She's a mysterious figure known only by a definite-articled career name, even in her ad fliers. She is seen in well-supplied little shops that appear all over the post-apocalyptic landscape, but she's never seen crossing the distance between them, much less moving her wares. She's hanging around England in a dire situation, aiding the remnants of mankind with supplies and hints ("This time, buy the ''really big'' guns!") under the guise of self-enrichment.

Face it: the Trader is a [[DoctorWho Time Lord]], and the shop is her TARDIS.

[[WMG: Kevin Clalemey, CEO and founder of the Manchester based, Horzine Industries, is the Master.]]

He's secretly behind the nightmare scenario that has befallen the world and he's modified himself past the point of no return in the quest to destroy his obvious nemesis, The Trader. If she's a Time Lord, who else could he be?

* Well, there is one alternative: Davros. Genetically engineered army, modified self, quest to kill everything not him or his children? Check, check, and check. This is, of course, either before the creation of the Daleks or after him getting rebuilt as a normal human with a case of EasyAmnesia and getting into genetic engineering because of flashbacks showing him the "ultimate form of life"... which would make himself and his specimens early, abortive attempts at recreating the Daleks. Either way, I hope the Trader starts stocking some DepletedPhlebotinumShells for those shiny new [=FN SCARs=] before I run into something shouting EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

* One whitelisted map goes along with this: the most recent version has four normally-usable Trader locations, with a hidden fifth one that the Patriarch always spawns from during the final wave.
