While Keicho is not childish, he also doesn't seem to be very good at being a functional adult (with the Nijimura house being dirty, dark and in shambles) and his plan to create a Stand user capable of killing his father was poorly thought out and poorly executed. He just shot a bunch of random people with the Arrow hoping that one of them would manifest a powerful Stand and then be willing to use it to kill his father. There are also two other characters who have toy-like Stands to symbolize childishness and immaturity--Narancia, whose Aerosmith resembles a toy plane, and Daiya, whose California King Bed is a vaguely toy-like thing covered in flowers and smiley faces.

Beyond being somewhat spoiled Yoshikage Kira's background was pretty normal unlike a lot of serial killers, and one has to wonder what kind of person Yoshihiro must've been to fully support Kira's murders [[TeensAreMonsters even at a young age]]. Perhaps like his son Yoshihiro was a SerialKiller who prided himself on not getting caught, but after settling down [[RetiredMonster he focused on being a dad]]. Like any narcissistic parent he approved of his son following in "the family business" and projected his own ego issues back when he was a murderer on him. Since his murders weren't motivated by some fetish he was better at keeping it secret and eventually stopping.

The alley is already inhabited by two of his victims, Remi and her dog, and Kira is notorious for severing the hands of all the women he kills. As one of the last people Kira killed before he started cutting off hands, Remi was able to keep her individuality, but after that, all of those hands just became the Alley Hands. As for why they appear in the alley, perhaps it's that the alley is a particularly powerful place for ghosts... but perhaps it's because that place is where Kira developed Killer Queen and they're there in the hopes that someday, he'll return there and become their victim. [[spoiler: And one day, their hopes came true.]]

[[spoiler:...it also accidentally transferred a teeny-tiny portion of Kosaku's soul to the man who had taken his identity. Not enough to override Kira's personality or his murderous impulses, but enough to make him feel a small amount of Kosaku's affection for his wife and son. When Kira went out of his way to protect Shinobu from Stray Cat and felt relieved after seeing that she hadn't been hurt by it, that was part of Kosaku's soul at work. When Bites the Dust kept bringing Hayato back, that was Kosaku protecting his son in the only way he could from beyond the grave, giving him a chance to outwit Kira and trusting that Hayato could do it.]]

In spite of how much she wasn't utilized, Araki seemed to ''really'' like Yukako, as she was the one resident of Morioh who was used as an AdvertisedExtra more than anybody else. Given that Araki is well-known for [[WritingByTheSeatOfYourPants Writing by the Seat of His Pants]], it's possible that he had planned for Yukako to become a main character alongside Rohan once she was reintroduced in the Cinderella arc, but ended up scrapping the idea as it was running alongside Kira's introduction, which ended up stealing all of ''[=DiU=]'''s attention starting with the Sheer Heart Attack arc. One thing supporting this is how Yukako was seen in the Janken Boy arc alongside Josuke and Okuyasu, without Koichi, implying that she had become part of the main Duwang Gang, even though she clearly didn't. Also, considering that ''[=DiU=]'' had converted into the [[MonsterOfTheWeek Stand of the Week]] formula after Yoshihiro escaped, Yukako's sense of characterization probably wasn't able to blend well into the new formula if Araki had planned for her to become a main character.

*Here's an even better idea. It's Reimi's stand, activated after death like Notorious B.I.G. It could even possibly explain why she hung around so long after death.

** The third and final opening will appear starting at the Atom Heart Father mini-arc but will be a different opening entirely except the silhouette sequence. Like the second Stardust Crusaders opening it will build up the final battle and similar to the Egyptian God Stand user sequence in the SC opening, there will be a sequence showcasing the enemy Stand users in the final part of DiU. The most noticeable difference however will be that during the silhouette sequence [[spoiler: Kira's silhouette will disappear but Kawajiri's will remain.]] In the sound version all of the silhouettes will be fully colored, [[spoiler: there will be hints at Rohan and Okuyasu's deaths at the hands of Another Bites the Dust, and at the end of the opening the entire opening will rewind and even rewind through the previous opening ending on the first frame of that opening.]]

* Kira does complain that Kosuke seems to have been desperate to climb up the corporate ladder, as it meant that he had to brown-nose to Kosuke's boss when he called to tell him he'd be late to work. It's possible he did this to earn a better living to please Shinobu.

Kira finds Kosaku and switches faces with him at the Cinderella salon, right? Well it's possible that Kosaku was at/near the salon in the first place because he planned to use Cinderella to become more attractive to his wife, Shinobu. As we know, their marriage seemed to be hanging by a thread. However, we also know that Shinobu's qualms with Kosaku extended beyond his appearance and were more about his personality, so it wouldn't have mattered anyways.
