* It's possible that either Longhena was a former EVAC executive member (or even the CEO of EVAC), or EVAC provided the resources for his army. It's also possible that DOOM was a prototype of the technology that would later be used to create Hibachi, and EVAC reverse-engineered Hibachi to make another DOOM. That's of course assuming that EVAC or a successor company exists at the time of [=DaiFukkatsu=], which, considering [=DoDonPachi Maximum=], is plausible.

Maximum=] has both EVAC and content from [=DoDonPachi DaiFukkatsu=], it's practically a given that EVAC was in the background of the [=DoDonPachi=] games (At least until [=DaiFukkatsu=]), especially since it's canon that the enemies fought in [=DoDonPachi=] were developed by EVAC.

And if ''Maximum'' is canon, it's shown that training simulators exist and can potentially be just as effective in training pilots to take on entire armies who spew out oceans of BulletHell...but in terms of combat prowess. Teaching pilots of [=DonPachi=] Squadron to fight effectively through a simulator in which no actual lives are lost isn't enough, they also need to be trained to not care who's on the other side, only that they're targets who must be destroyed, period. What better way to train that mindset by making them fight their friends until they no longer see those friends as such?

And if ''Maximum'' is canon, it's shown that virtual training exists and could've been just as effective in training pilots to take on entire armies who spew out oceans of BulletHell...but only for combat. The pilot's comrades didn't fight against him just so he could have enemies to train against. The pilot's enemies were intentionally picked so as to numb his mind until [[ExtremeDoormat he's capable of fighting and killing anyone he's ordered to fight, regardless of who it is or consequences of his actions]].

Who else would want such a thing and it's been said the ending text has her remarking on someone suggesting the notion to her. He likely had a role in breaking her out. Inbachi? Likely a mentality that he created if not a clone.

As seen in a playthrough video, the incarnation of Evaccaneer DOOM, namely the TrueFinalBoss, is a target of combat simulation prepped by Tiger Schwert's pilots, complete with them contemplating about the machine's existance. However, as they try to make out the name of the machine, it says Hivacaneer Hi-VA-C (pronounced as He-va-see). It strikes a conspiracy overtone in that the head of EVAC and Colonel Longhena are in cahoots

While you certainly may not have prevented NEXY from causing the events of ''dai ou jou'' without knowing it, at the very least you did stop Longhena and pals from the future from altering the past into an even worse state than it already is.
