* DarkerAndEdgier: By far one of Alicesoft's darkest works, it's notable that its sexual content is usually played for {{Squick}} rather then titillation. It also lacks, almost completely, the trademark humor the company is usually known to have in its games.
* DarkIsEvil: Hatsune's black schoolgirl uniform, and raven hair, should tip people off she isn't a nice girl.
* DeusAngstMachina: Kanako's life. She didn't have a mother, her father was strict, she's frequently abused and raped by delinquents and her father is almost completely ignorant of it. She only felt happiness being with Hatsune.

* DeathEqualsRedemption: [[spoiler: In one ending, Hatsune sacrifices herself killing Shirago, and defending Kanako. In a final act of selflessness, she prevents Kanako from committing suicide, by making love with her for a final time, encouraging her to live on.]] Downplayed in that, while it certainly doesn't make up for her previous horrid actions, it shows there [[spoiler: was always some good left in her, and humanizes her considerably.]]

''Atlach=Nacha'' is a Romance/Horror Visual Novel by Alicesoft about a ''Jorōgumo'' named Hatsune Hirasaka.

She saves a ShrinkingViolet by the name of Kanako Miyama on the night she discovered the school, killing and devouring the boys that were trying to rape her. Now, Kanako stays by her side as a loyal servant, helping her accomplish her nefarious goals, while Hatsune plans to target the other students, either turning them into her thralls (a "kind" term to describe broken sex slave), or consume them alive. Things become complicated between Kanako, and Hatsune, as they start to devolp feelings for each other. However, Shirogane is stalking the area as well and it won't be long before he tracks her down, and Hatsune will need to confront her age-old rival once more...
