** Need to walk on the bottom of water, and have some swallowable cannonballs nearby? Nope, cannon balls are only for resisting air currents, you'll need an air bubble to walk underwater.
** Have an ability that tells the player "not to use near glass"? Well don't, that's not the ability that can break cracked glass.
** Perhaps most frustrating, (some) ice cubes ''cannot be melted'': instead the only way to get rid of them is with a radial sonic attack. Various forms of fire, explosives, and even the directionally aimed version of the sonic attack do nothing against them.

Similarly to ''Banjo-Kazooie'', you play as a duo of anthropomorphic animal buddies. Yooka, a chameleon, and Laylee, a bat. The game was crowdfunded on Website/{{Kickstarter}}, with the [[https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playtonic/yooka-laylee-a-3d-platformer-rare-vival campaign being launched]] on May 1, 2015.
