Towelket: One More Time (タオルケットをもう一度) is a series of doujin RPG games made with RPG Maker 2000 and RPG Maker MV by Kanashimi Hocchikisu (かなしみホッチキス). The games are heavily story based, with classic RPG style combat and exploration. Many of the games deal with alien invasions or world threatening events, with the main characters being tasked with trying to survive in wildly different scenarios. There are currently 8 main titles and 8 spin off games which are loosely related to the main series. The mainline series of games are all free to play, although some of the spin offs are purchased products. There are also remakes of Towelket 3 and 1 available in RPG Maker MV.

Although the series has a large number of games, the vast majority of the games are not directly related to one another and often have completely different stories from one another. Despite the cute art style and characters in the games, all of the games involve blood and/or gore to some degree and often contain sexual themes or disturbing topics.

The series is currently being translated by the Patchy Illusion Team. Currently all of the mainline games are translated except for Towelket Kemono. Kaiketsu! Nekoashi Otome-chan and Warau Warawau are the only translated spin offs currently.

With combat style and exploration similar to Earthbound, it features cute characters, and solid story-telling. Most of the games deal with alien invasions (with one exception). There are 7 main titles, with 3 spin-off games, that are slightly related to the main series.

Each of these games shares a general plot. The planet gets invaded by aliens, and the main character and his or her friends defend their home from said aliens. If there are no aliens present at the time, then the town is instead "invaded" by or infested with random animals.

An anonymous team has been translating the series.

* ''Towelket One More Time 2'': A young boy, his talking cow Ushi-chan, and his childhood friend Paripariume. These three lived a perfectly normal life in a small country town. However, that peace wouldn't last... One day, Ushi-chan was abducted by aliens in a flying saucer.

Because of a loss of interest in making games, the developer of these games cancelled the series on May 28, 2014. The author also lifted the "embargo" on the series, and people are permitted to publicly upload videos featuring the game.

As of May 28, 2014, the author of the series has cancelled the series (due to a disinterest in making games) and lifted the Embargo on the series, allowing videos and gameplay to be public.
