Gonna mark some tropes due to Speculative Troping; please keep that in mind when editing.

* ClearMyName: Upon being labeled as the culprits behind the Metaverse returning, the Phantom Thieves decide that investigating this case directly has to be their top priority to prove their innocence.
* ConservationOfNinjutsu: As expected from a Warriors game. Whereas Persona 5 featured encounters that were often against four enemy Shadows at once, it's possible for one single Phantom Thief to wipe out hundreds of them within a span of seconds. Slightly averted in that Shadows still manifest as singular creatures in the overworld, and attacking them causes them to split apart into Shadow hordes akin to how the original game did it.
* GenreShift: From a turn-based RPG to a hack-and-slash title. Notably, Scramble differs from most other Warriors games in that the core daytime social interactions seen in the Persona series are kept around, adding more gameplay beyond the core combat.

* OriginalGeneration: As is common in many Warriors titles based on other franchises. Scramble introduces a mysterious new girl named Sophia as a playable character. She joins the Phantom Thieves under the codename "Sophie", and has her own Persona called Pithos.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is a HackAndSlash Action RPG SpinOff sequel to VideoGame/Persona5, published by Creator/Atlus and developed by Creator/Koei Creator/Tecmo, in the vein of the latter's Warriors series.

Set half a year after the end of Persona 5, the now-retired Phantom Thieves of Hearts' plans to enjoy their summer vacation together must be put on the backburner when strange incidents throughout Japan herald the return of the Metaverse, as well as the Palaces and Shadows that populate it. Painted by the media as the perpetrators, the Thieves now embark on a road trip that will see them investigate different cities across the country, solve the mysteries that lay behind the Metaverse's sudden re-emergence, and destroy any Shadows that cross their paths with their newly reacquired Personas.

The gameplay mixes together Koei Tecmo's tried and tested Warriors formula with elements of Persona combat and exploration. The main meat of gameplay will allow players to swap between members of the Phantom Thieves to take on hundreds of enemy Shadows with their own signature weapons and Personas at the ready, while including new environment traversal options akin to the Palace exploration segments seen in Persona 5. In the real world, the social sim interactions from Persona are kept intact, allowing players to roam around each city during the day and interact with their teammates and the locals.

Scramble is set to be released in Japan on February 20, 2020 for the UsefulNotes/Playstation4 and UsefulNotes/NintendoSwitch. A release date for international territories has not been announced as of yet.

Propose that we bring back the Scramble page because of the influx of information we're going to get from now until the game's Japanese release.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is a SpinOff sequel to VideoGame/Persona5, published by Creator/Atlus and developed by Creator/KoeiTecmo, in the vein of the latter's Warriors series.

Set half a year after the end of Persona 5, the now-retired Phantom Thieves of Hearts' plans to enjoy their summer vacation together must be put on the backburner when strange incidents throughout Japan herald the return of the Metaverse, as well as the Palaces and Shadows that populate it. Now having regained access to their Personas, the Thieves now embark on a road trip that will see them investigate different cities across the country, solve the mysteries that lay behind the Metaverse's sudden re-emergence, and destroy any Shadows that cross their paths.

Scramble is set to be released in Japan on February 20, 2020. A release date for international territories has not been announced as of yet.

!!Persona 5 Scramble contains the following tropes:

* GenreShift: From a turn-based RPG to a hack-and-slash title. Notably, Scramble differs from most other Warriors games in that the core daytime social interactions seen in the Persona series are kept around, adding more gameplay beyond the core combat.
