''Mega Man X: Corrupted'' is an upcoming ''VideoGame/MegaManX'' fan-game being developed by John K. Bacchus (a.k.a. JKB Games). It was formerly being made in Flash Develop, but later moved to [=HTML5=]. The project has been in development since the late 2000s, and production is still going strong. The game uses the [[{{Retraux}} retro 16-bit graphics and SNES-like music]] of the ''Mega Man X'' series. However, the game also differs from the original series by being a {{Metroidvania}}-styled game where X and Zero can level-up and earn skill points to power up their attacks and weapons.
