* StandardStatusEffects: The usual Poison, Blind, Paralyze, etc. status can be applied by both your characters and the enemies. However, they avert the usual UselessUsefulSpell the series is known for: a lot of bosses are weak to a couple of status effects, including the very useful Paralyze (making some abilities like Intimidate ''very'' useful), and almost of all them are susceptible to Slow. The game actually encourages players to use status against some bosses to get a Mastery ranking (which can turn the battle into a drag if the player is unlucky and his attacks doesn't activate the desired status, forcing him to SaveScumming).

''Final Fantasy: Record Keeper'' is a {{Freemium}} game for mobile devices that's based on the Franchise/FinalFantasy games.

The story follows a city that revolves around storytelling getting besieged by an unknown evil force, erasing the stories of all the Final Fantasy games from the city. The keeper of the library, Dr. Mog, sets his apprentice, Tyro, to gather the heroes from each game and fix the records of each world.

The game is separated into worlds representing each Final Fantasy game, which is then divided into portraits that represent an area or dungeon in each game, and overall [[AdaptationDistillation acts as a summary for each game]]. The characters include "core" characters, who are generic classes, as well as named characters from each game.

!Tropes included in the game:
* ContinuityNod:
** If Cecil is in your party when fighting the boss version of Kain, he'll question [[BrainwashedAndCrazy Kain's behavior]].
** In the first ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII'' portrait, summoning Shiva against Ifrit would prompt a confused reaction from him.
