* CriticalHitClass: The Frontier units all have at least a 50% chance of scoring a critical hit. Some of the Frontier units take it further and have a ''100+%'' chance of scorin

* FearlessUndead: Black nanopod units have a bravery rating of 500, which is the ''absolute highest value in the game''. In game terms, that means they'll never get the suppressed debuff, which decreases accuracy.

* GasMaskMooks: The enemy Raiders all wear full-face gas masks. As do many of your own troops.

* DamageSpongeBoss: The Ancient Sentinel. With a combined total health of 5250, this thing already has the most HP and armor of any boss in the game, but then you stack on its ''massive'' damage resistances (25% against all damage except for cold, at 90%) and you're going to be whaling on it for a while. You could just focus down the main body, but then you don't get as large of a reward.

* BoringButPractical: The Portable Wall is just a cube of stone on some tank treads. However, it's ability to block non indirect fire can be valuable for dealing with certain units, and it's high health and low armor means armor piercing doesn't really matter too much, compared to tanks which can die with over half thier armor remaining.

* BoringButPractical: Units such as the Veteran and the Mega Tank, while not particularly flamboyant, are a good investment in Nanopods. They may not look or act as cool as many of the promo units, but their all-purpose attacks get the job done, and they can be put to a variety of uses. Most importantly: they're always able to be trained.
