Accidentally Accurate has been renamed per TRS thread.

* AccidentallyAccurate: After noticing the large number of references to unseen prior events in ''VideoGame/RedFactionArmageddon'', he suggested that there was supposed to be some kind of intervening game to serve as backstory, and the intervening game would have been dreadful, judging by the fact that ''Armageddon'' got made instead. He's about two-thirds right, as it turns out; there was a Creator/SyFy original movie based on the series that was meant to serve as backstory, and by all accounts, it was indeed dreadful.

Not a trivia trope, and is troping of real people. Don't do that, please.

* NoSocialSkills: Ben Crosshaw has stated that he is uncomfortable with the idea of interacting with his fans, and frequently asks they not engage him if they discover him in person. This often comes in conflict with his Zero Punctuation personality, which many people assume and expect to be his actual personality. Croshaw has also stressed that while his Zero Punctuation personality is played up for the sake of entertainment, he is "{{not good with people}}".

* AccidentallyAccurate: In his review of ''VideoGame/DiabloIII'' he decried the use of procedurally-generated dungeons, comparing it to a book with randomly ordered chapters: "If a book randomly rearranged its chapters with every read, then every chapter would have its characters doing fuck all, because the plot wouldn't make sense otherwise. So the end result will always be a fucking boring book." [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unfortunates Someone actually did write such a book]], in which the chapters are unbound and can be read in any order, and true enough, nothing much happens in any given chapter. It's open to debate whether the end result is a boring book however.

"Purple Monkey Dishwasher" is a decades-old joke from the Simpsons.

* ReferencedBy: Bearing (a Men's Rights Activist) used "Purple Monkey" and "Dishwasher" as options in his gameshow-esque lambasting of a real-life StrawFeminist overreacting to being told a joke.
** The episode "Hero Punctuation" of ''WebAnimation/DoraleousAndAssociates'' has the group trying to get hired by "King Yatzee of Meh," who gives scathing critques of each mercenary, with simple cartoon flashcards for visual aid. His guards armor is fashioned to make them look like Imps.

He has even directly referred to this wiki in his [[LetsPlay/LetsDrownOut Let's Drown Out]] series. However, this part is a bit of a subversion, as in the last episode he called tropers "losers with no intention of improving themselves" (paraphrased) so it's possible that he dislikes being considered one.(paraphrased).
