** Marty Isenbrg explained at [=TFNation=] 2019 that even with the steadily-growing popularity of turning to streaming services to [[{{Uncancelled}} continue past canceled shows that were popular enough to be revived]], the chance of this happening to ''Transformers: Animated'' is, unfortunately, next to nil, due to the show's nature as a [[MerchandiseDriven toy commercial]] that had already been shown to have failed in the past. (Presumably legal issues would also be a factor, given the show was a co-production between Hasbro and Cartoon Network.) He also mentioned, however, [[TheResolutionWillNotBeTelevised that a comic continuation isn't completely out of the question]], and he would be glad to write it if the opportunity emerges.

Misuse of word of St. Paul. These are all just opinions and jokes that do not really affect the overall canon of the show. The one about the actor joking about doing a certain character is actually Hilarious In Hindsight cause he never expected to get the exact role in another series for transformers

* WordOfSaintPaul: Derrick J. Wyatt has drawn a lot of other 'bots from the other entries that were either just for fun or didn't get pass the cutting room floor, though as a number of these aren't official, it might as well be canon if you want.
** [[http://news.tfw2005.com/2010/08/17/transformers-animated-derrick-j-wyatts-con-sketches-170423 According to Derrick J. Wyatt]], his interpretation of the Fallen in ''Animated'' is that he was reformatted by [[Anime/TransformersZone Violen Jiger]], hence the ''ComicBook/GhostRider''-esque flaming head.

Additionally, he tags the post with "Arachnus Prime", suggesting that at least "Arachnus" may be Optimus's new name in that universe.
** DJW personally believes that the ''Animated'' version of [[ComicBook/TheTransformersMoreThanMeetsTheEye Pharma]] would be played by Creator/JeffreyCombs. This is a CastingGag to ''[[WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime Prime]]'', in which Jeffrey Combs played Ratchet.
** On his ask.fm, DJW stated that he sees ''Animated'' Vector Prime as being played by Creator/ChristopherLloyd.

* CreatorsPest: Derrick J. Wyatt and several of the other show's writers have a strong dislike of Beachcomber. While he mostly appears as a background extra, a cut scene from the start of season 3 depicted him being horribly killed. Had the fourth season been produced, it would have opened up with Blackout brutally murdering Beachcomber, and had he somehow survived that too, Marty Isenberg said they would have found a way to kill him in a hypothetical fifth season. Wyatt has mourned the loss of Beachcomber's planned death scenes, but he has also admitted that his dislike for him started to wane after a while.

* ShowAccuracyToyAccuracy: For what it's worth, ''Animated'' has some of the best accuracy between the show and the toys of any continuity, in that the toys are highly accurate in Alt Mode, Robot Mode, and have extremely accurate transformations, all while maintaining the series' unique art style.
