* DawsonCasting: The 100 are all supposed to be below 18 at the beginning of season 1. Their actors aren't. The worst offenders are Marie Avgerpoulos (29), Jarod Joseph (29) and Christopher Larkin (27), who are all about 12 years older than their characters, Octavia (17), Miller (17) and Monty (15).
** By season three, Jarod will be 30, making him 13 years older than his character.
** Averted with Alycia-Debnam Carey (Lexa's actresses) who is twenty-two, with Lexa implied to be in her late teens.

* DawsonCasting: The 100 are all supposed to be below 18 at the beginning of season 1. Their actors aren't. The worst offender is Marie Avgerpoulos as Octavia - she is a full 11 years older than her character.
* FakeNationality: Insofar as there are actual nationalities on The Ark, there are a few of these:
** Clarke appears to be American, but is played by Australian actress Eliza Taylor.
** Bellamy Blake also is American but is played by Australian actor Bob Morley.
** Kane is also supposed to be American, but is played by Henry Ian Cusick, who is part Scottish, part Peruvian.

** And Jasper, played by Canadian Devon Bostick.
** Carl Emmerson[[labelnote:*]]of Mt. Weather Security[[/labelnote]] is an American, played by Australian actor Toby Levins.
