This is possibly Lampshadeing what is one of Kira's most idiotic actions in the series. (As well as the SuperRobotWars games' habit of showing [[AcePilot how experinced]] [[{{Badass}} Amuro]] is [[MemeticBadass compared to most]] [[OvershadowedByAwesome the other characters]].)
