* BadExportForYou: The first Russian publisher Schwab contracted with ended up [[https://www.theguardian.com/books/2017/sep/20/ve-schwab-on-international-success-and-being-censored-in-russia censoring Rhy's romance with Alucard]]--which she had to find out from a fan on twitter. Since this was a breach of contract, the rights reverted easily and Schwab sold them to a different publisher, but Russia's censorship laws still mean the book has to be shrinkwrapped and marked as 18+.
