* PlayingGertrude: Somewhat justified since all the characters involved are immortals, but:
** Ma Tian Yu (Ying Kong Shi) is only nine years younger than Kim Hee-sun (Lian Ji, Shi's mother) and seven years younger than Yan Yi Kuan (Yuan Ji, Shi's father).
** Feng Shao Feng (Ka Suo) is only a few months younger than Gong Bei Bi (Ka Suo's mother) and ten years younger than Shao Bing (Ka Suo's father).
** Hu Bing (the Fire King) is only nine years older than Zhang Meng (Yan Da, the Fire King's daughter) and eighteen years older than Shu Ya Xin (Shuo Gang, the Fire King's son).

* ActingForTwo: Feng Shaofeng plays both Ka Suo and She Mi.

* PlayingGertrude: Kim Hee-sun (Lian Ji) is only nine years older than Ma Tianyu (Ying Kong Shi). Justified because both characters are immortal, and Shi is technically only a young child who's magically become an adult.

* Several actors in this series are also involved in ''Series/PrincessSilver''. Behind the scenes is Zhang Meng (Yan Da) as executive producer; among the cast are Chen Xinyu (Chao Ya) as Hen Xiang, Deng Sha (Xing Zhou) as Consort Yun, Shu Ya Xin (Shuo Gang) as Wu Yu, Wang Yu (Ji Quan) as Ling Yue, and Xu Ke (Xing Jiu) as Ning Qianyi.
