While the Celtic, Welsh and Greek facts are accurate, with regards to the movie, only the accuracy of their research into Scandinavian myths is relevant.

* ShownTheirWork: The Nøkk, the water horse that represents the water element can be considered an AssPull just to give Elsa a horse, since horses are not commonly related to water, however the Nøkk is a part of Scandinavian folklore and myths. They were considered dangerous spirits that appeared near lakes during foggy days shaped like a majestic white horse. If a person tried to ride one they'd be unable to get off and the Nøkk would jump into the water and try to drown the rider [[spoiler:which the Nøkk tries to do to Elsa in the film.]] They're also part of Welsh and Scottish legends in the form of Ceffyl Dŵr and Kelpie respectively. And if you go back to Greek Mythology, Poseidon was not only the god of the ocean, but of horses.
