* PopCultureUrbanLegends: This game, despite not being released outside of Japan, caused an urban legend in regards to the weapon Yewfelle, specifically its Japanese name "Ichiival." On December 16, 2013, an editor erroneously claimed it was Odin's bow in a Wikipedia page regarding mythological weapons (this information was removed since). As the result, the name appeared in some work of fiction, like ''VideoGame/{{Smite}}'' and ''Anime/{{Symphogear}}'', as "Ichaival." That said, Ichiival is a Japanese translation of Ydalir, a valley of yew trees sacred to Ullr, which is literally translated as Yewfelle in ''Awakening''. * NoExportForYou: Pretty much the biggest "gap" in official ''Fire Emblem'' releases at this point. Both this game and ''Thracia 776'' have fan translations, but no remakes or anything similar have been announced, and the originals are far too old for meaningful export at this point.

What separates them from ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemMysteryOfTheEmblem Mystery of the Emblem]]'' or ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBindingBlade The Binding Blade]]'' is that the Archanea and Elibe games have seen exposure outside of Japan, while the Jugdral games haven't.

Names The Same is no longer a trope

* NamesTheSame:
** [[OneSteveLimit Another Arthur]] lives [[VideoGame/FireEmblemFates in Nohr]]. They are not the same person. It doesn't help that Fates!Arthur's Japanese name is Harold – the same name as a boss in Chapter 6. Poor Arthur just can't escape sharing his name with someone else. And Intelligent Systems didn't even bother to change his name when Arthur appears in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemHeroes''.
** [[OneSteveLimit Another Macbeth]] acts as the Nohrian adviser to Garon? [[DubNameChange He changed his name to Iago]].
** [[OneSteveLimit Another Hilda]] lives [[VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses in Fódlan]]. They are not the same person.
** [[OneSteveLimit Another Claude]] lives [[VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses in Fódlan]]. They are not the same person, and by extension, Claude's (the ''Genealogy'' one) name became Claud in ''Fire Emblem Heroes''' Choose Your Legends poll. [[labelnote:And also... (SPOILERS!)]][[spoiler:Intelligent Systems eventually revealed that Fódlan's Claude is just using a pseudonym. His real name is Khalid, thereby averting the overall same-naming.]][[/labelnote]]

** ''Genealogy'' wasn't initally conceived as a proper Fire Emblem game at first, so it's namesake ended up being added at the very end of development to give significance to the title.

** Lachesis was going to be the mother of her brother Eldigan's son, Ares. Also, Byron was Deirdre's father, not Kurth (kinda makes sense, given Kurth looks absolutely nothing like her) which would have made the game's OfficialCouple incest too. (Unless Vylon was not Sigurd's father at that point, which is definitely possible.) Oh, and Seliph and Julia would automatically become lovers in Chapter 8. Yes, [[SerialEscalation there was actually going to be MORE incest in this game.]] Altena and Arion would become auto-lovers too, but thankfully they're NotBloodSiblings, and there ''were'' some definite hints of this in the final game [[spoiler: as Arion can be made into an NPC if Altena speaks to him in the final battle.]]
