* CreatorDrivenSuccessor: Tony's show [[https://www.youtube.com/c/HackTheMovies Hack the Movies]] is more or less the same format as Cinemassacre Video with Tony as the host, with plenty of guests from Cinemassacre and not appearing in different reviews.
** The [=Y2K=] Scare VHS Tapes episode feels like a precursor to the Cinemassacre Podcast- while they did technically discuss the content of the tapes, a good chunk of it was merely discussing the topic of [=Y2K=] in general, and has the freewheeling conversation feel of the Podcast.

** In the Cinemassacre Podcast, James and Justin said there are a handful of episodes that were recorded but never finished due to the abrupt ending of the series. One that was recorded but lost is a review of Anime/PerfectBlue, because James didn't "get" the movie and more importantly, one of their microphones wasn't on while recording. They also alluded to wanting to continue the series, but the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic made recording unfeasible.

** Tony has said a few times that they had gotten in touch with Nathan Runk, the winner of the infamous "The Mask 2" contest by ''Nintendo Power'', to have him on as a guest, but COVID also derailed that. Unfortunately, they've never been able to reach him again since.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Due to the series coming to an abrupt end, we never got episodes that the cast hinted would make great future discussions, such as ''Film/LoadedWeapon1'' and ''Film/FreddyGotFingered''.
