Marth Debuted In Smash Bros is when a character appears in Work A and then Work B in the original country but first appears in Work B overseas. The only characters this trope applies to are the light novel characters, because the BBS official translation of CFYOW began before the novel translation was released and SAFWY is so far only officially translated via BBS; the TYBW characters are not an example, because the official manga translation came out before their appearances in BBS.
