This is false, as the animation was modeled after Creator/{{Pixar}}, mainly their ''Franchise/ToyStory'' films. Justified, though, as the characters ''do'' really look like anthropomorphic food characters from 40s cartoons.

* Part 3 of his Animation Lookback on The Muppets originally had a gag involving Mat and his puppet interacting with each other, but he didn’t feel the joke landed well, so it was cut out. ** The "What to Expect" sections of his "Top 5 Best & Worst Animated Films of the Year" series showcase what animated films might be coming in the following year. * BigNameFan: Judging by the fact that both of them ended up getting into an argument in the comment section of the Let’s Watch of ''Animation/{{Ratatoing}}'', it seems Creator/MikePollock is regular watcher of Brunet’s.
* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer:
** In his review of ''VideoGame/EpicMickey'', he wrongly credits Creator/RobPaulsen for doing the grunt sounds for ''WesternAnimation/OswaldTheLuckyRabbit''. These were actually done by Creator/FrankWelker.[[note]]He did realize this mistake and put an annotation in the video where he corrected himself.[[/note]]
** He made a handful of common blunders in his review of the first full trailer for ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTheMovie2017'', such as mixing up the roles of the BigBad (the Storm King) and TheDragon (Tempest Shadow), and calling [[BirdPeople Captain Celaeno]] [[ViewerSpeciesConfusion a griffon]]. That is to say nothing of him repeatedly calling the main characters "the Equestria girls", given how his only major exposure to the series beforehand was via the [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirls franchise of the same name]].

** During the "What to Expect from 2019" segment in his Top 5 Best & Worst Animated Films of 2018 list, he listed ''[[WesternAnimation/ShaunTheSheep A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon]] as one of the upcoming animated films of 2019. As the film's North American theatrical release was cancelled in favor of a Netflix release in 2020, he was unable to review it.
