** It is shown that the world that they went to has deteriorated ever since Flash went back to the Speed Force, as even though the final moments of Flashpoint world seemed to have end, it somehow still clinging on to existence, and it caused [[ForeverWar the war between the Atlanteans and the Amazons]] to spread throughout the world whilst causing countless deaths from both sides and ordinary humans alike. It is hinted that the existence of Flashpoint is caused by [[spoiler: Doctor Manhattan]] himself.

* The second half of ''ComicBook/TheButton'', where Batman and The Flash manages to return to the [[spoiler: ComicBook/{{Flashpoint}}]] Universe and encounter [[spoiler: Thomas Wayne]] in the flesh again.

** The saddest part is that the [[spoiler: Flashpoint has suddenly become to disintegrate itself, and while it is sad to see characters from side stories of Flashpoint (e.g. Deathstroke and his daughter, Dick Grayson's circus troupe, Lois Lane and the Resistance in the UK etc.) being erased from existence, the final encounter between Thomas & Bruce Wayne is ''heartwrenching'' as the former refuses to go with him back to the prime universe, with his last words being to [[ForHappiness stop being Batman for once, and be a father for Damien Wayne in a way that Thomas couldn't do for Bruce]]]].

* As the Flashpoint universe crumbles around them, Bruce begs Thomas to escape with him and Barry, telling him he's a ''grandfather'' now. Thomas refuses and begs Bruce, in turn, to quit being Batman and focus on living a happy life and being the father Thomas himself never could be.

* Bruce being forced to watch Eobard destroy Thomas' letter.

* Jay mentioning that the outside force stole ''everything'' from him. Like Wally before him, he's lost the love of his life -- Joan Garrick, the woman he'd been married to for ''decades''.
