** In the end, Penny and Dr. Smith are able to escape the "mirror dimension" by distorting their reflections within a pool of water. Penny is eventually able to convince to boy who lives there to let her go. After Penny asks that he follow her in escaping, the boy reveals that he doesn't ''have'' a reflection in the water. Though poor Penny has no way of knowing this, so she's left devastated when Dr. Smith [[NiceJobBreakingItHero destroys the mirror]] upon her escape. Not knowing that the boy was unable to follow her regardless of Dr. Smith's actions.
