Hollywood Nerd has been disambig'd and is no longer a trope

* Wrestling/AJLee had her "Let's Light It Up!" theme song long after she was a HollywoodNerd, and became a PsychoExGirlfriend.

* The 2015 edition of Wrestling/{{Summerslam}} featured for its main event a grudge match between Wrestling/TheUndertaker and Wrestling/BrockLesnar, more than a year removed from the latter breaking the former's 21-match strong [=WrestleMania=] Streak. [[SarcasmMode So what better song to punctuate this tense match than]] "Cool For The Summer" by Music/DemiLovato? While the song's tune fits the pop themes Summerslam has been using for the past few years, it can be jarring when juxtaposed with the main event its advertising. [[IsntItIronic For added irony]], the song isn't hiding its theme of girl-on-girl experimentation, something that probably does not fit in WWE's PG-era.

* Wrestling/MinoruSuzuki uses Ayumi Nakamura's "Kaze ni Nare" as his entrance theme, which is hardly the tune you would expect to hear announce the arrival of a black-clad, ill-tempered, ruthless fighting shogun. At the very least you would expect the guy to be a Bishōnen. Sure, it's J-rock, but it also has piano, a female singer, occasional melodic reference to "Eye of the Tiger", and lyrics about being a lonely warrior and (per its title) becoming like the wind. But Minoru Suzuki, being a fan, makes it work so it just adds to how frightening he is.

* The wild, psychotic "Macho Man" Wrestling/RandySavage used Pomp and Circumstance (a slow regal, classical song) as his entrance music throughout most of his career.

* The wild, psychotic "Macho Man" Wrestling/RandySavage used Pomp and Circumstance (a slow regal, classical song) as his entrance music throughout most of his career. That being said, it does fit the glamorous side of the character better.

* Many fans have pointed out that Nia Jax's theme [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDDs4VNL77Q "Force of Greatness"]] does not fit a WrestlingMonster {{Heel}}--despite the title, it's a preppy pop tune.
** That said, the lyrics do fit Nia's character (and role in the Women's division) to a T. "I'm not like most girls/That only take just what they're given/Like a plastic little princess/Lucky for me..."

* According to Wrestling/MickFoley's first autobiography, ''Have a Nice Day!'', when he was brought into the Wrestling/{{WW|E}}F as the deranged monster Mankind, he requested [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EROJk8tD218 a beautiful piano sonata]] as his exit music, specifically for the Soundtrack Dissonance when compared to the match that had preceded it. He cited a scene from ''TheSilenceOfTheLambs'' as his inspiration to do so.

* The trope was used on purpose by [[Wrestling/TripleH The]] [[Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon Authority]], when live on RAW they announced the firing of Wrestling/DolphZiggler, Wrestling/{{Ryback}} and Wrestling/ErickRowan and tell them to thank Wrestling/JohnCena for losing their job... while "Stars and Stripes Forever" plays along a rain of confetti and balloons. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOmaMlAHDwo It has to be seen to be believed.]]

** The WWE Divas in general seem to suffer from this, due to having much more techno-styled songs than their male counterparts. Wrestling/AJLee had her "Let's Light It Up!" theme song long after she was a HollywoodNerd, and became a PsychoExGirlfriend.

* The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying GarbageWrestler Wrestling/{{Sabu}}'s theme in Impact Championship Wrestling? Madonna's ''Like A Virgin.''
* Wrestling/TheYoungBucks, because nothing says "{{arrogant kung fu guy}}" than a slow, soothing tune accompanied by a woman {{scatting}} in the happiest manner possible and also singing about being nice. (Doesn't apply to their Wrestling/RingOfHonor or Wrestling/BulletClub themes however)
* Wrestling/SantinoMarella's Wrestling/{{WWE}} theme is loud, boastful, even regal. Santino Marella is a clown that makes up for what he lacks in makeup with a unibrow.
* Wrestling/{{T|aryn Terrell}}iffany's [[InNameOnly WW]]Wrestling/{{ECW}} theme, opened with the lyrics "I'm insatiable, I can't get enough! I need to find a boy!" The thing was, she was the show's general manager, the boss. And that's exactly how she acted, with no hint that she was a love crazy maniac.

* Wrestling/KevinSteen's theme "Unsettling Differences" is seemingly about how professional wrestling is a rough sport, a rougher business, how he wants to make the best of it and will be a decent guy so long as you don't cross him but will mess you up if you do. Steen is of course, an irrationally hateful brute who attacks people have done nothing to him just to spite people he has perceived gripes against.
